Quote from: J.L. Duncan;850074Just to let you know King,

I plan to do a review of Great and Small for Knights of the Dinner Table, from what you have available.
Cool!  I look forward to seeing what you think.

I haven't had a chance to actually playtest the rules yet (though that's coming, along with a report on the session, next month), so feedback is more than welcome.

On a related note, I'll be a doing a Q&A for Great & Small on the Hardboiled GMshoe's #rpgnet chat on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. CDT/5 p.m. PST.

Quote from: King Truffle IV;849828There's a simple solution to the problem of how animal characters hang on to magic items: they eat them!

You've really thought this out a lot... I like it.  Envisioning cute furry animals gobbling up magical swords is making me giggle at the moment though.  I am imagining a bunny sword-eater.

Bunny Sword-Eater would make a great name for a female barbarian in a gonzo campaign, too.

LOL, oh my, I might just have to play that character now.... if whatever GM that's running the game doesn't kill me for it.

Very cool on the raven writeup, I like it, and it reminds me a little of an avian character I played recently (of a race that also had the whole compulsive thievery thing going on).  They fit the whole misunderstood trickster thing very well, with a tinge of necromancy there  (all appropriate).

Thank you.  I'm glad you like it. :)

I love the idea of playing a familiar too... they usually are badly neglected (players really do sometimes just totally forget they have them), but they have so much potential.  I actually did for part of a session have players go off on a short adventure playing their familiars and animal companions though, that was fun.
