This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Monster Powers - for Actual Monsters?

Working on 'Actual Fucking Monsters'. Working on creature powers and running out of inspiration. If you were playing an inhuman monster in a #Horror #RPG what powers would you choose, if you had free rein?

Separate Party (cause the party to decide the split up for some reason)
Ride Person (ride on a person's mind/body to spy on group or escape, etc)
Consume Skin Suit (consume internal organs and other body parts and wear the remaining skin suit)
Unbalance (cause weird phone calls, etc to occur, distracting and putting party off balance)
Portal Device (have a device associated with your "own" dimension. Handling/working device moves person/party to your dimension)
Sympathy (cause a person to have unreasoning sympathy for your "predicament")

Cultural Appropriation (use ideas from non-western monsters)

Duplicate Party (create an "evil" exact duplicate of the party)
Final Form (on initial death, take final more powerful form)
Fog (create fog)
Anti-Tech (your tech, it breaks)

More a quirk than a power but...

True Believer (one person always survives your attack, and nobody believes the survivor)
