I think you should settle on something that looks like the White Wolf character creation system, based on the feel I get from your setting/system. As you say, point based (like their dots business).
Thank you for responding.
I had kind of given up on getting a response, but that it took until now to respond was more due to the discouragement of not getting any before, as well as my problems to get things done in general, rather than me not noticing the response until later.
Yes, i have every intention of using a variant of WW's "dot allocation system", i see it as one of the best and fastest systems for character creation in the world.
It is specifics that too often has been bogging me down, like using "races" or not, and using "classes" or not, but more along the lines of Vampire's Clans or Werewolf's Tribe-Auspice-Breed differences, but with other ways of defining the characters.
Yes, it is very "stream of consciousness", i want it to get LESS "streamish", but that is another thing i seem to have some problems with, and something i would like to get help with, if possible.
As for the jargong, i am not sure what is "jargong" and what is the actual words that is standard for rpgs and similar.
Also, i've tried to put up rules for making "standard humans", but too often i wind up getting BORED by doing it, and loses all direct feel for continuing.
In case you wonder:
Yes, others has pointed out that i might have autism or aspies (they seem to often have similar problems), but i haven't been thoroughly checked for that yet.
