This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

[Actual Play] I illustrate my campaign as we play through it

Hi Everyone!

I'm a professional illustrator who has produced work for Magic the Gathering and Pathfinder games.

I'm running my own campaign set across the savage coastline of WintersEdge. Its a world I've been building over the years and even has a novel help prop it up (Up to draft 4 of that)

Each video i will be showing a timelapse illustration of a character or a scene in the episode. The audio of the adventure session will be running in the background.

Its a pretty loosely run affair, with the idea being that a group of youths have set out to make their way in the world. There will be key events happening in the world but how involved the characters become in these events is still a mystery. I'm trying to create a story that adapts to the whims of the players (They've already latched on to a randomly generated NPC I made to be a background sailor and a long term quest line is evolving from that.)

If you're interested in watching an art process as an adventure plays out in the background you might enjoy this. We are all pretty new to the game (Most of us played as kids and have come back to it) and are still trying to figure out our natural playing style. I in particular am still trying to hit my stride as a DM so any advice is appreciated!

Episode 1 attached and thanks for taking a look:)

Nifty, will have to check these out tonight.

Cheers Zircher - my DMing needs a lot of work, but onwards and upwards!
