So you want to enter into the tavern of the RPG Site eh? Good, good, there's a few things you should know before you proceed.

1. Registration is free.
2. Participation is rewarded with access to avatars, use of the private message system and other goodies.
3. The administrators and moderators aren't in the business or censoring what you say, but we do reserve the right to keep the peace. Come looking for trouble and expect to face the consequences.
4. To that end your account has three chances - a warning, a three day ban and a permanent ban. Afterwards you must make another account. This is a general structure - we reserve the right to give more warnings if infractions are infrequent over a long period, or for particular egrarious actions like posting images not safe for work without warning.
5. Banning isn't our only recourse, and be warned that Pooka in particular loves to alter the code of the board to find punishments which suit the infraction and the infractor.
6. The occasional insult and trash talking is fine, but prolonged harrassment of any member is not. We aren't going to set a hard spoken limit, just understand that the longer you goad, especially within a given thread, the more likely it is that action will be taken.
7. We permit communication to evolve naturally and meander where it will, but persons who are consistently looking to start trouble while contributing nothing to the community will be made miserable or banned.
8. About Porn - if an image could get someone in trouble if someone else sees it over their shoulder don't post it inline - provide a link and clearly mark it with [NWS] (Not Work Safe) tags.

Understand that the freedom to speak your mind comes with the responsibility to hear what others have to say about those words. Understand that the moderation of this board is with an eye towards encouraging participation by the members and keeping the fun level high. If you work to make things less fun for others and especially for the moderators and administrators, expect us to react appropriately.
